Steady is designed to be a private, focused tool. To provide its core functionality, we use Google Firebase to power our backend.
Authentication: Steady uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This allows you to use the app without providing an email address or name. A unique identifier may be generated and associated with your app data.
Data Storage: Habit data may be stored using Google Cloud Firestore to provide the application's functionality.
Cloud Logic: Firebase Cloud Functions may be used to process application logic.
2. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information. We do not intentionally use third-party advertising or analytics suites for the purpose of selling or profiling users.
Information may be processed by Google Firebase where necessary to provide hosting, authentication, database and related infrastructure services.
3. Data Retention
Because Steady may use anonymous authentication, deleting the application, clearing application data, or changing devices may affect your ability to access data associated with the previous installation.
Data may remain in our systems until it is no longer needed for the service or until a valid deletion request is processed.
4. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with Steady.
Data transmitted between the application and supported backend services may be encrypted using industry-standard transport encryption such as SSL/TLS.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Children's Privacy
Steady is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided information through the service, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
